Amex to Emirates - does it boost tier status?

Hi - a couple years ago I think i transfered 900k amex point over to a hotel scheme and it not only gave me the hotel points, but it also gave me the tier spend. I've not done this in a long time, but does anyone know if that works with Skywards, i.e if i transfer 500k points will it also boost my status to the relevant tier?

Thanks in advance!

No, you would only receive skywards miles when you transfer from Amex.
For status, you need Tier miles.
