The Emirates Lounge In Hong Kong

Well the Hong Kong Airport website still lists it as "temporarily closed" so that suggests Emirates are still paying for the space. But no idea when it might reopen.

But note that the opening hours of the lounge are 2:30pm until the last QF departure.

And currently the last QF departure each day is at 19:30, so it's only useful for EK 383 and 385(ish), and not for EK381.

Oh. That's interesting. So there are two different pages for the Hong Kong lounge on the Qantas website with completely different opening hours! The first one is the only one returned if you search "Hong Kong Lounge" on the Qantas website!

I think the problem is the old page on the QF website which is the one its search turns up. I'd be fairly confident that the lounge is open until 11pm, as per the HK Airport website and one of the pages on the Qantas website.

I was in HKG not long ago, asked around about those still-to-reopen lounges and both EK and UA were said to be in the 'sometime in 2024' bucket (not even an 'early-mid-late' 2024 timeframe specified, just the broadest possible 'sometime in 2024'). Surprised both have not reopened already.

There was a question earlier seeking clarification of the opening hours of the Qantas Hong Kong Lounge (due to some confusion over conflicting times on two Qantas pages): I can confirm it's open 7.30am to 11.00pm.
