This happened to me from Bangkok to Dubai. Was booked on A380 as per confirmation in business class. Was only looking at the seat and it was changed to
777. Called emirates and they changed me to an earlier flight. No charges.

what's the chances they change ek205/ek206 to a refurb 777 (306Y)? It looks like they are currently using 310Y... not sure what they used during covid when it was also 777

Will it revert back to the 380 after 30 March?

First-time poster, so sorry in advance if this post is unorthodox in any way. I was also curious about Emirates reverting back after March 30; I am slated to fly from IAD-DXB then DXB-ICN all on the A380 in late May. Does anyone know when we will recieve confirmation as to whether Emirates will bring back the A380 for the IAD<-> DXB route at least for this summer?

I read on simpleflying that EK is bringing back the A380 earlier than originally planned, on March 31st. It was originally slated to return in October '24.
