Stupid booking mistake
I booked flights with Emirates last week for my and I's long-delayed honeymoon in Japan (we got married during Covid and so had to cancel the trip). Stupidly I managed to book our return flights a week later than they should have been and since they're non-flexible economy class tickets there's a 320 charge to change the flight dates online.
I wanted to ask whether there's any chance that phoning the airline up and asking if they'll the waive change fees would work? I know some airlines tend to be more flexible than others, but I don't really have any experience with Emirates. If they're likely to rigidly stick to the contractual position, then I wouldn't bother and will just pay up.
