Since the ‘escort service’ was introduced (I think during Cold?) I have once landed at a bus stand in F and there was a lady with a sign where I was dropped off. But no buggy as the point where the bus drops you is close to transfer security. She just takes you (rather assertively) through security and to the appropriate lounge.
Note that the ‘escort service’ is not an official / published benefit, so you should not complain if you don’t get it. There are numerous reports of it ‘not being there’. And I have never heard about being escorted TO the next flight. Also the general departure lounge is too busy for buggies (apart from buggies for passengers with limited mobility)

If you want this benefit wait until final call in the lounge and when they start throwing out surnames over the tannoy you’ll get an escort to the gate..!
