Lounge Access

Just booked D class to DXB through LAX, was unable to find info on lounge access, will reward redemptions be eligible for emirates lounge in LAX and DXB?

Yes (when departing, not when arriving. EK has no arrivals lounges anywhere)

Hi jephdub,

Unless you have Silver status you wont have access into the DXB airport lounge on D class award. Having Gold and above will grant you entry into LAX and DXB.

The only other entry option is paid for.

I am pretty sure that all D bucket (i.e. business class award) tickets have the same lounge access as cash J tickets (with the exception of paid H (special) fares which do not give lounge access.
The only thing missing for awards tickets is chauffeur drive).

As above, this is not correct. The only times you don't get lounge access are for the paid "Special" fares, and the emailed paid upgrades (it's made very clear in the email that CD and lounge access is not included).

Normal awards, and Skywards points upgrades will get normal lounge access.

Was just wondering does flying QF F out of LAX allow access into the EK lounge or no? I know its not a OW lounge but thought I read that QF and EK had some sort of agreement for access. Thanks
