AMEX MR transfer time

It seems from most comments that the transfer or Amex MR points to Skyrewards is almost instant. I transferred points to book my outbound flight and found they showed up as soon as I was able to log in and look.
Now I want to transfer points to book the return and did it from the AMEX site this afternoon, but nothing has shown up in my Skyrewards account. Has anyone else seen this type of delay? Have you had to do anything about it to resolve the issue? I know AMEX says it can take up to 48 hrs, and I am wondering if I should do something proactive, although I am not sure what action I can take.

Silly question - but have you logged out of your Skywards account and logged back in? I've found that MR transfers don't show until I do that.

You can call Amex to make sure the transfer was processed and sent to Emirates, if it was you need to just wait. This happened to me a few months ago, never had an issue with instant transfers and then it took maybe 4-6 hours to hit my account.

It is a valid thought, I did go out and in, and also tried the mobile app.

It did show up this morning. Not sure why it took longer than prior transfer experiences, but it was all there this morning.

As ridiculous as this may sound, the only times there have ever been a delay for me were when I transferred on weekend (in UAE).
