Avoiding a Fraud Flag

Ultimately I want to buy 2 F mileage tickets from DXB to USA for me and my fiancé. However only 1 award seat is available at the moment. This is for early June. My plan is to transfer CC points into my EK account and purchase a ticket for her. Does she need an EK account? Will booking an award for her using my miles trigger a fraud flag?

I plan to buy an award ticket for myself if another seat opens up. Plans B and C are to buy J and hope for a mileage upgrade or just buy an F ticket.

The most important thing is that your AMEX MR account and EK Skywards account name match.

Why not setup a family account?

I’ve transferred Amex MR to my EK account several times so I know that works well. I’ll look into a family account.

The one limitation to note is that I believe Family Accounts can't be used to upgrade on board.
