when does EK change menus?
Flying MAN-MRU next week and been checking to see if menu has changed past month and its still the same.

Thanks! It's MAN-MRU route and not been changed as yet for well over a month. I really dont fancy sweet potato and lime soup on the MAN-DXB leg and was hoping they would change the menu by next Tuesday,

Plus we fly back MRU-MAN 1st October and I feel sure I saw a menu for the MRU-DXB leg a few weeks ago as I recall I was going to pre-order vegetarian as there was nothing suitable for me but that menu disappeared two weeks ago and still not online. BTW we are in business class.

Quite often I find that the new menu online is not the same as what is offered on board despite what the app tells you. I travelled MEL-EBB-MEL in F recently, and despite the new menu showing a day before each departure, the menu on board was different except for the DXB-MEL leg. This happens to me frequently wherever I fly. So you really don't know what you will get.
As I find this more often than not, my advice is that it might be best you accept this and assume that the flight will be an adventure with a mystery menu!!

You can always go for a special meal but I am unsure if thats going to change the soup. I tend to look at the meal and if I dont fancy it, I order a Hindu meal which is usually rice and chicken or similar
