First Class Cinema Menu

Has anyone been served the new Cinema snacks menu since the launch announcement? I have two USA sectors and cannot find anything about the new service at all.

I think most sources indicate the new menu and cinema snacks don't start until the start of September.

Looking forward to hearing people's experiences as well!

When are you flying off?

I cant remember which thread, but someone definitely posted a picture of the menu from a flight leaving Australia. I could be wrong, but look through m0hammeds posts. Perhaps a soft launch has happened on select routes.

Edit: I wasnt crazy. Its in the trip review below. Ive been on several F sectors since, and havent seen it myself though.

EK A388 F - Consistently consistent

It was on my JFK-DXB earlier this month, but not on the return DXB-JFK a few days later. So maybe theyre doing a roll out on limited flights right now?
Unfortunately I didnt try anything off it as I wasnt hungry.

It was indeed offered and I was keen to try it, but wasnt hungry after BNE-DXB then the F Lounge and lunch on DXB-AMS.

I was given the menu on STN-DXB a couple of weeks ago, so definitely is already being rolled out. Didn’t try it, sadly.

its on my instagram - i liked the beef sliders had them both ways. The wife had the vegan ones (not so keen on the ex man ones) and my kid had popcorn - the salad with the lobster was a bit dry.

Look forward to it! Would like to hear your thoughts on the P2 as well. (if champagne is your thing)

I have never seen P2 on any USA sectors. I have had the privilege of enjoying P2 and P2 Rose on Europe and Asian routes though! It was amazing when it happened

I flew SIN-DXB on the A380 recently and was offered the movie snack menu. Funnily enough, the menu stated 4 items (popcorn, lobster salad, beef sliders and vegan sliders). But I saw another pax having a shrimp cocktail and was told that was from the movie snack menu too.

I didn't try anything from the menu though - was too busy slurping down my P2 and caviar and was too full after my meal to get a snack.

The P2 was good, felt almost like more concentrated champagne (in flavor not alcohol %). The toasted brioche really came through.

On hindsight, I should have tried the movie snack menu (which may or may not be on other legs) in lieu of the beef tenderloin (which will be on other legs). Or maybe had a shorter shower and squeezed in a quick pre-landing snack. The woes of flying in F...

I

It was/is on 226 from SF today. Didnt actually notice the menu (in the snack basket), but one of the flight attendants came by with sliders (both beef and vegan). Beef sliders are tasty.
