JFK Flights
Hi All - I hope you are well.
I have a trip planned to New York end of October. I intend to fly in business to JFK so that I can be on the A380.
There are currently 3 flights that operate from Dubai to JFK. They arrive at 08:50, 14:25 and 18:55 local time.
I have flexibility as to timing so I was wondering which flight would be best to avoid peak international arrivals at JFK to avoid long immigration lines.
Grateful for your suggestions.
Thanks

This website lets you check out real time waiting lengths at all USA airports.
https://awt.cbp.gov/
From a quick search it appears the 2:25pm EK arrival into JFK T4 would have the shortest wait time.

Actually, my experience has been quite the opposite. The afternoon arrival (EK201) seems to get significantly longer queues than the morning arrival (EK203). I used EK201 for my JFK trip in J last week and had a 25 mins wait time. With EK203 that I had been exclusively using before the pandemic and then again in Nov of 2021, I had a wait time of less than 5 minutes. YMMV.

EK203
I'd say choose the morning arrival (EK 203). Honestly it's refreshing landing in the morning, the cabin is quieter, the lines at immigration are short, and the onboard bar isn't too crowded.
The afternoon arrival (EK 201) is alright, but expect longer lines.
FYI the evening arrival (EK 205) stops in Milan, and you have the leave the aircraft and board again, so I wouldn't recommend it (unless you want to do a stopover for a day or two and visit Italy or Switzerland of course!).
