Emirates First Class Availability
Hi,
Does anyone know when (if) first class availability will open up (currently booked in J)? I'm looking at flights from MLE-DXB-JFK, and the first class cabin is wide open (some options are completely empty), and the flights are in the next few weeks, but no award availability. Do they make seats available only like x days before the flight?

There is no exact answer to this, but the given wisdom is that they seem to release 1 or 2 seats in F on very lightly loaded flights approx 72 hours before departure.
Failing that, you can upgrade at the airport to any available unsold F seat using EK skywards miles
