100% Bonus miles
Just received an email offering me 100% bonus miles if I buy miles by tomorrow. Obviously this means 50% off the price of the miles, so a bit disingenuous if the 'standard' offer up to 15 May is 45% off.

Received the same offer.... and having been tracking flights from US to DXB for the past week was very pleased! Of course, as soon as i go to check that the reward seats (which were available 2 hrs ago) are now not available on any flight. Highly targeted!?

I'd have probably bought the 100K + 100K.
As a mere Silver, I was limited to 100K in the 45% discount sale.

If they didn't have amex points to transfer would it still be worth buying the smallest amount first to hit the eligibility criteria? When I bought mine they hit the account immediately.
