When I arrived on one of the CAI-DXB services in F about 5-6 weeks ago, there was a buggy waiting to take F pax only straight to the PCR testing location to give us priority. There was no additional service (like this meet and greet people speak of), but it was certainly quite helpful to have someone take me right to the PCR testing (I wouldn't really have been sure where I needed to go in this case).
For what it's worth, even though on a mileage redemption in F, I was able to get chauffeur drive (in a business class car, not First) back to my hotel in Dubai on arrival. Nothing pre-booked however, and no chauffeur service from my DXB hotel to the airport in F (though my excellent hotel offered me this with their compliments).
Things change all the time, however, especially with an airline like EK, so I find if you go in with no expectations, you may be pleasantly surprised, or you may still be unpleasantly surprised when they occasionally find a way to make things go wrong in ways that defy the expectations even of someone without expectations!

That's exactly what meet and greet is! They meet you at the plane and fastrack you through the formalities. Very similar to the Maharba Meet & Greet, but doesn't cost anything.

Hmmnm... In this case, there was no assistance after getting to the PCR test point. I would have thought Meet and Greet would stay with you through immigration, baggage reclaim, etc. all the way to the driver. Then again, I've never used such a service, paid or not.
I'd also have expected Meet & Greet to be a private service. This was one buggy for the handful of us who were in the F cabin (it was a 777 with a light load, so at most four of us). As soon as he dropped us off at the PCR testing point, he was heading off to get other people.

Indeed, just a buggy to drive you around. And I don't think (but open to correction) that this is an official benefit of arriving in F in DXB (at least I have not received an email telling me about it and these days I get an EK email whenever they change their socks - or so it feels)

I once had someone wait for me while I completed a PCR test, and they then took me to the front of the immigration queue. The immigration queue was quite long that day, so it was appreciated (normally I say thanks, but no thanks). Guess it depends on the day and how much pressure they have. But it is meet and greet.

This does sound quite different from the Marhaba service, as I read it from their web site to be "Full Escort from terminal - immigration - baggage area - till meeting point"

I will know more as, out of both curiosity, and concern for a friend who will arrive from a 20 hour journey days after a minor surgical procedure, I've booked him the Marhaba service together with one of their cars to bring him to my apartment (he's traveling Business but not on EK, so doesn't already have a car).

In any case, if Marhaba deliver what their web site says, then they seem considerably more comprehensive than the EK "meet and greet" as they stay with you from the plane to the car. One of the most important things in my booking was that I wanted some continuity from arrival to transport for a friend who may not have mobile data services on arrival at 04:30 in the morning, and therefore may have issues with unexpected delays on PCR, immigration, etc. which would normally require communication with a separate driver.

I will advise in a few days how his experience was, and in comparison to my own experience arriving EK First with an escort to PCR and then being on my own until connecting with the Chauffeur Drive desk.

Okay, I see. It is a massive stretch real estate from immigration the the CD desk. Somehow, my seven year old seems to navigate it fine, but well just put that down to dumb luck.

Hope your friend survives his ordeal 😄

Was that tone of speaking strictly necessary?

As for the point of this thread, my comments were simply to observe some objective differences between EK's "meet and greet" that they sometimes do and sometimes don't bother to do for F pax, and a paid service by Marhaba, which some people must find of some use, as it is a viable product that people pay for every day.

As to my friend's case, I already pointed out that the main motivation here was to have some degree of synchronization between the landside driver picking up and the airport to landside arrivals process, not that he can't find his way from one desk to another.

I will add, however, that DXB COVID testing has shifted around its various locations and protocols several times in the last several months, and the first time I arrived (in November) even the airport staff didn't know where to point me. In fact they gave me completely wrong directions, and only after someone decided we'd been through enough already, processed us in the resident testing area because by that point it was easier to do so. But after what was nearly an hour of wasted time because the right hand didn't know what the left was doing, I'd have paid about anything to have had a competent person getting me through, as it was slow going on my own, and all I was getting was useless apologies from people who knew they were letting me down but weren't empowered to take charge. It was frustrating enough after a short hop here from Europe, but arriving at 4:30 am after traveling nearly 24 hours from the other side of the world, I'd have been less patient.

Very good evening to you, sir or madame.
