Advice to maximise value of first class
Hello, I'm new to this part of the forum - I lurk much more in the BA forums where most of my business/first travel is business related across to US from LHR.
Although I rate the chances of travel at below 50%, a friend and I decided to book some first class tickets on Emirates for Jan next year. I think the likelihood of travel is low, but we can hope and ream!
Our itinerary is
EK926 CAI-DXB (First, A)
EK703 DXB - MRU (First, A)
with a 4 hour layover.
Then return is
EK702 MRU-DXB (First, A)
EK925 DXB - CAI (First, A)
22 hour layover.
I was wondering if you have any recommendations on how to maximise value and the experience. By that, for instance, for someone flying first on BA, i'd suggest they book a cabana and spa session at least a month beforehand. Avoid the first lounge, head to concorde. Remember to ask for the chocolates. Stuff like that.
Also happy to take any advice on seating. The CAI-DXB legs are on 777s and the DXB-MRU on the A380 (hopefully it is flying then!)
I know its
Its a long way
