Thank you all for the suggestions and input on the F experience. For reference, I am spending 4 days in Dubai before travelling onward in J to Maldives. So I will be missing out on F lounge access in Dubai but given the current status of F lounge, not really missing all that much it would seem. Very excited for this opportunity and certainly my wife will not be able to fly United coach after this trip.

Trip report -
EK 202 - JFK - DXB
Just a quick trip report to say that we had a fantastic time in Emirates First Class cabin a couple weeks back. The service, food, drinks etc. were awesome. I took full advantage of the shower, onboard bar and wine/drinks during this 12 hour journey. I even slept a bit
.
The 'surprise' was when we landed in DXB, the airport rep escorted us to and through fast track immigration. I didn't know that was apart of the 'experience' but certainly helped in quickly getting landside and into our transportation.
Next trip will have to be in the new 777 seats
Thanks to everyone on this board for the advice, feedback etc. in making my first Emirates flight a huge success.

Yes! They served Hennessy Paradis on my last trip last May in F and I see it on the menu for future trips.
Usually I will have a glass after dinner with a cheese plate or with chocolates.
Waiting for the Imperial but have not been that lucky.

yeah but it's nothing special qatar business lounge kicks it, the cigar bar is still closed, and Hennessey Paradis is still being served, I don't know if it was only my flight but the service from the crew sucked almost reminded me of us airlines, but the hard product it still great in my opinion on a380
