A380 stair locations
Odd question, but bare with me.
We're flying LHR to Dubai for the holidays, but I've managed to get myself a business class fare as there is work involved for me whilst in Dubai. My spouse and little one are flying Economy (begrudgingly).
At some point during the flight, I'd like to give my wife a break and have my 4-year old sit with me quietly (watching a movie) or something of the sort.
Is it easier if I'm at the front of the upper deck or back for access between floors? It's unclear whether the rear stairs are in use as they lead into the aircraft bar, so I'm not sure there's a pass-through.
Thanks,
mflat

As always, it is at the discretion of the cabin crew. The switching between cabins is generally frowned upon, so I suggest a nice word to the cc is in order before attempting to do this yourself.

You need to go back to Economy with the child and let your wife sit in your Business seat. This is a much, much more reasonable alternative. For one, you're swapping 1 person for 1 person, not adding a second person. Secondly, its a lot less movement. You didn't purchase 2 seats in business, you purchased 1 in business and 2 in economy, so that is your right to occupy. Your child is not an infant and therefore requires a seat and you only have 1. I wont get into the children in J thing, thats not my argument.

Perhaps you can spend the flight with your son and give your wife the J seat? If you do this at the start it will be permitted.
