Spa smell on EK385 (HKG to BKK)

Spa smell on EK385 (HKG to BKK)
Was sitting on upper deck Y on EK 385 from HKG to BKK, continuing onward to DXB on Dec 19. Noticed that the plane had that fragrant smell like a spa in Thailand (all positive). However, after the layover in BKK, the smell was gone from BKK to DXB. Also took EK384 from DXB to BKK and then EK384 from BKK to HKG (on separate days), and the smell was not there either. Did the crew spray anything in HKG before boarding and is this consistent ?
