UPPY! rehydration tablets

I noticed that Emirates make these available to first class passengers.

Any comments on their effectiveness to battle jet lag?

I dont think this will really have any effect on jet lag, but electrolytes and vitamins don't really hurt. These are not that different from other fizzy vitamin tablets (e.g. Berocca) or hydration tables (Nuun).

"A friend" has told me that they also happen to mix well with Vodka.

IBJoel and pokeable like this.

I tried them once and survived! Don't know if they worked though!

A little vitamin c is probably smart in a metal tube full of people who may or may not be hacking their lungs out.

Not any more they don't! Replaced with FlyFit as of all my December flights, effectively the same thing but in a different flavour.

I personally quite like both and appreciate the fact that EK provide them. I'm not sure they battle jet-lag any more than having a balanced diet does, but still nice as a back up.

I wouldn't rate a rehydration tablet or a balanced diet as battlers of jet lag. Now sleeping is another matter, but I suppose we all do what works for us as individuals, scientific evidence or not.
