DXB-LAX Miles upgrade
Miles upgrade just opened for my DXB-LAX flight in October.

The upgrade from J Flex to F is being calculated at 50400 miles on MMB.

Is this an error or are they re-structuring their upgrade system? Since the calculator on the website says 63000 miles.

Recently (like since this spring), they sometimes over mileage upgrades at a discount. So jump on it!

Go for it!

I have had a similar 'discount' from J Flex + to First on a JNB to DXB sector. Was confirmed instantly.

Took the upgrade!!

Blocked 3K. Any seat recommendations? First time F on A380

2A or K are best, 3 is fine. Avoid 1

Got 2A!

The redemption also shows as "Flight (Discounted Upgrade Reward Offer)" on the statement. I was under the impression discounted miles upgrade is made available only during OLCI.

I had one last month a few days in advance of travel. Never seen them a month in advance as you've got.
