"A" class for 5 people

Hi all

I’m trying to snag 5 seats in ‘A’ from LON-SYD. All the A380 seats are showing F4 A4.

What do you think the chances are of emirates releasing another seat in A class if I book on separate PNRs?

thanks

Very slim - at best.

All availability ‘engines’ have a maximum of 4 for all F fare buckets. So A4 would indicate a minimum of 4 seats to be sold in the A bucket.
Having said that, I would agree with XXTSGR that it is unlikely that they will sell more than 4 seats at Saver fares.
The only way to find out is to try, possibly by contacting the call centre. I would definitely NOT try to book them under two. PNR’s, i.e. in two separate purchases. The availability will almost certainly have disappeared after the first transaction!

Have you tried booking 5 seats on the website to see if it is 5x the price of 1 seat? As noted above, availability F4 A4 means there are at least 4 seats available in booking class A - there may be 5+ on some flights.

Well, in that case (assuming the A bucket is still available), the only solution is to book 4 of you into A and one into F. Sad, but that's life.

Thanks. Currently booked with EY but they’ve just downgraded a sector to 77W.

Not sure EK is worth the extra investment?

First world problems and all that...
