JFK security
Flying out of JFK to Dubai tomorrow night at 23:45. Is there a priority security line for first class passengers? I normally don't mind arriving early as T4 can be a slow, but given the emirates lounge is closed don't want to have too much wait time...

Normally there is indeed a priority security line however at JFK you never know. When it is bad, it is really bad. Last time through I took the early EK flight and we definitely had priority security. I have to say though the time before that it was your 23:45 and I did not get priority security as it was “closed” for staffing reasons. Hopefully someone else can chime in with some recent experiences. Super bummed that the JFK lounge is still closed.

There technically is a priority security lane, but it's all first and business class for all T4 departing passengers which makes it a complete mess! Given your flight time, I would expect it to be not that pleasant...

JFK lounge is temporarily closed for refurbishment. Not sure if it has opened yet. (it hadn't the week before when I was there). You'll get a meal voucher good for $40 if flying J or $55 in F, good at any restaurant.
