Good news Y'all!!!!!!
I managed to create the account with a fake DoB and then sent EK an email to change my DoB and they did it. I am officially a legitimate Skywards member!!!!! With my 2003 DoB!!!!

You sure , try searching for upgrade space with miles via MMB. If it allows you then you are correct , if it gives you the error saying Skywards Surfers can't do this then you are back to square one.

Well that is strange then ? When trying to upgrade using my daughters FFN , who is U18, it displays this message. I can not see how the system would see you as adult skywards member , as I'm sure it feeds off the DOB.
EK aren't really known for offering status matches , worth a try by sending an email.

I think what DatBoi did was register as a full Skywards member using the fake DoB and then amend his DoB to the correct one. The system did not pick this up and did not downgrade him to Skysurfer. So now there should be 2 DatBois in the System, one Skywards and one Skysurfer (at least I think he was a Skysurfer already). Both with the same names and DoBs. Unless he cancelled the Skysurfer membership before enacting this trick.

I don't think DatBoi's new 'status' will be long lived (but I have been wrong before).

Aha, I think not having (had) a Skysurfers account will improve your chances of this being permanent quite a bit.
If some 'higher authority' ever audits there things, you would of course still be in trouble.
