Another question I'd wonder about is what do they serve as the PDB when it's an outstation?

I know ex-US in F they serve Taittinger or Veuve as PDB, but in J it might be an interesting case since the tax difference between the vintage and NV probably isn't enough to have a different PDB.

Usually whatever the local station has a deal with their distributor and it's on the approved list.

Depends on worldwide availability of it!

Does anyone have experience checking in wine? I do it all the time on domestic AU but I'm considering taking home 1x12. It will be a standalone carton, individually bubble wrapped.

(Piggs Peake Reserve Shiraz 2010 for those interested)

Do it all the time - no problems as long as securely bubblewrapped. I usually put it into a hard case inside a suitcase (with bubble inside the case and sealed plastic outside in case of leakage).

Odd name for a wine. Piggs Peak is a casino in Swaziland (it wasn't as impressive as I had hoped)

Well this is a winery in Australia so probably not so odd as not related to a similarly named casino in Africa?

It is most certainly worth carting to the other side of the world! Hunter Valley Shiraz, which isn't the best Shiraz region but man this is a good 'un.

I know it isn't related. It's an odd name regardless (for both a vineyard as well as a casino), but then a lovely South African wine is Fat .......

Don't FAs get wine training? Lovely FA today but Sauvignon Blanc pronounced blank and Moet & Chandon pronounced Moett....
