Earning miles on upgraded EK segment using Skyward miles
Hello!

I was wondering if anyone could help me understand how this would work - I am flying paid EK J from the US to India soon, and am planning to credit miles to AS. However, on the return leg from DXB, I am hoping to upgrade to F using Skyward miles.

My question is, what kind of mileage will I earn on AS? Will I earn miles for the sector as flown in F, or J?

Upgraded sectors earn miles at the originally ticketed fare class.
