Finding Skywards Award Availability for Alaska

I've found myself with 80,000+ skywards miles, and after trying to figure out what to do with them, I found that I can burn most of them by flying from the Continental US to Hawaii.

I found that Alaska flies from BOS -> OGG via SEA; however, Emirates doesn't have any tools for award availability. I've poked at a bunch of dates on American Airlines award search, but none of the AS flights show up. Does this mean that there's just no award availability? Or should I be looking using another search engine?

I'd love to avoid calling Emirates and just throwing darts at dates for an hour....

thanks!

The only way I've been able to check award availability for skywards partners is over the phone. Curious as to why you're using the AA site and not the AS award booking calendar. I'm not an expert with AS but I can definitely see AS award space on BOS-OGG but not sure if this means the same award space has been released to AS partners.

Oh, that's an interesting point -- I had just /assumed/ that the availability that I saw on Alaska's site was different from what they released to partners, but I guess I don't know that for sure. It's kind of tricky to find information about it online -- most of what I see is people using MileagePlan to get tickets on partners, not partners to book flights on AS metal.

I can find plenty of award availability on AlaskaAir.com, but none on AA.com -- though AA tells me "AAnytime awards for your origin and destination apply only for wholly American/American Eagle itineraries.", which I assume is because American Airlines flies that same route and is filtering out the Alaska results?

Time to give Emirates a call, I suppose!
