Award Waitlisting Process
I had a large stack of skywards points expiring so I booked JFK-MXP round trip in F for 2 pax on placeholder dates in October. At the time award availability for all of September was pretty side open but I didn't know our exact dates yet.
Having now worked out the dates in September that I want to travel there is obviously no availability.
The agent offered to put me on a waitlist but gave no indication what the process was or how long it may take to clear. Can anyone give me an indication on how long it may take and what my chances are on the direct JFK-MXP on Sept 1 and back on Sept 10?
