Online Check-In Question

I can now check-in for my flights on the 29/3/2017 from MAN-BKK as both legs are within 48hrs, however when I try to do this it allocates the seat selections I reserved for the MAN-DXB leg, however for the DXB-BKK leg it states no seat selected. I have triple checked that the seats are still showing as being allocated to my booking in the booking manager page.

Does anyone know from experience if I go ahead and check in online whether I will lose my selected seats for the 2nd leg and therefore be better off waiting until the airport. Both the seat I selected and the wife's are the same for both flights. There is no option to just check in for the first leg.

I appreciate seat selection isn't guaranteed, however I would prefer not to miss out because of something I did wrong.

Any help appreciated thanks.

This happens to me all the time with MAN-MRU flights. The MAN-DXB flight shows my chosen seats but the DXB-MRU leg seats are always missing. I've learnt to just go ahead with the check in and it shows up no problem on the boarding passes.

It generally shows up as previously selected without an issue

Thanks for replying, I may give it a try.

OK I gave it a try, when I got to the third (final page) of check in the seats reappeared and all is well.

I've had the same problem and outcome as wel. Certainly a bit worrying when it happens though.

I noticed this on my recent trip and worked out that it was because my travel companion's advanced passenger information was not filled in. Once that was completed the 2nd leg seats were showing.

It wasn't that in my case as I'd pre-filled everything in months ago, but will bear in mind.
