Information on Load requests
The number of seats for sale for a flight are available via ExpertFlyer.com, a subscription-based service with a 5-day free trial. A subscription is $9.99/month and can be enabled and disabled any time. It is encouraged to subscribe rather than post repeatedly in this thread.
NB: Op-up changes or overselling of a flight cannot be determined with certainty from this information, only inferred to be more or less probable.
For a once-off load request please follow these guidelines:
Flight loads >7 days out are not very useful, as the airline could still sell many seats, unless availability of a specific fare bucket (e.g. Business Saver upgrade) is requested. If you wish to know the general flight load please don't post >7 days before departure.
When requesting a load please provide the following information:
- Date of flight (departure date)
- Flight Number
- Origin
- Destination
These four fields are mandatory in searching on ExpertFlyer (see screenshot below) and it isn't fair to except those who pay for their subscriptions to also have to go look up which cities a specific flight number is from and to (also some flight numbers are onward flights (5th freedom routes, e.g. CMB-MLE) and loads will differ significantly depending on which sector of the flight is checked.

Ah, so you did not REALLY get the message to buy your own subscription, although this request clearly shows that you need one!
But Ok, I’ll relent. Even better, I looked at the individual flights!
EK 8 today is F1, J0, Y4.
EK 352 tomorrow is F3, J1, Y5
Now you’ll be sitting at the airport wondering “will I or won’t I”
The joys of being an FT’er......
And by the way, the URL you need is ExpertFlyer.com.

Welcome to the EK forum where you will find lots of information about EK.
We are a fairly friendly bunch here and try to help where we can but, without trying to sound too blunt, there is a useful wiki at the top of the page which explains the use of this thread and the usefulness of the information requested. It is advised that any requests for flight loads more than 7 days ahead are not of much use as the airline can/ will change availability in a very dynamic way in the preceding days.
To get a more accurate response, any requests for our kind members would be better requested within 7 days.

EK 212
Hi,
I'm wondering what the load is like on EK 212 IAH-DXB on this coming weekend either Saturday or Sunday. We have an 18 month old and are trying to see if we should buy his seat or just take a chance with him being lap infant and hope to find an empty seat. As of now I only see Economy available on miles but if business opens up then we would be willing to spend the miles and get business but same question whether the flight is full in either Eco or Business?
Thanks
