thanks a lot for the reply . So as at now am book in Y flex Plus . If Y cabin is that full , we can “assume” it must be oversold . But that’s just an assumption. Hoping I can get an Op-up . Tho EK tries hard to sell upgrades with cash out of MRU (yes , mostly based in MRU these days, which is quite cool indeed) . As a matter of fact, we almost (maybe I am aware of 1 exception 4-5 years ago) never get upgraded before boarding here in MRU , certainly not at check in , even if we ask if the flight is full etc . They try to sell J upgrades or F depending on your class of travel . Which is a source of revenue , perfectly understandable. All That to say that if the flight is overbooked and they manage to sell enough upgrades , skywards status holders may not heave op-ups . Regardless, op up quite frequent here in MRU. i will report back if got op up. Fingers crossed.🤞 @BA Hamburg , what does the 98% means and the 10m or 12m ? |

Re-looking at your flights as separate legs, MRU-DXB looks pretty empty, DXB-BCN is looking good for an op-up if you're high on the pecking order: EK 7020MRU 09/01/24 4:35 PMDXB 09/01/24 11:10 PM388 Daily 98% / 10mF4 A4 J7 C7 I7 O7 Y9 R9 X9 M0 B0 U0 K0 Q0 L0 V0 EK 2550DXB 09/02/24 3:25 AMBCN 09/02/24 8:35 AM77L Daily 89% / 12mJ7 C7 I7 O0 Y0 R0 X0 M0 B0 U0 K0 Q0 L0 V0

For op up purposes (and based on his last post that seems what JasonMRU is looking for), It would be useful to look at these as individual flights instead as married segments. Then you could see which of the segments is limiting Y to 4 seats.

Thank you, this is the one I was actually after! Do you know which buckets miles upgrades would come from? It still seems pretty open.

Thanks. Currently ticketed in J in transit to DXB, hoping to upgrade to F. Emirates agent at check in for the first leg said F full but a few seats were blocked so an upgrade at DXB was likely. Does this line up with what you’re seeing or is F fully sold?

Would anyone be kind enough to check current load of EK005 on 24 Jan

Expert Flyer has routes as input, not flight numbers. If you give me the route information (as per the rules for this thread), I’ll look up availability for you.
EK005 DXB - LHR 16:05 - 24/1 Strange it looks like EK still selling special tickets but saver showing sold out in J |

Apologies
EK005 DXB - LHR 16:05 - 24/1 Strange it looks like EK still selling special tickets but saver showing sold out in J In my opinion it’s way too early to predict chances of miles upgrades, especially on that route which is ‘J heavy’. Interestingly J to F upgrades are available on that flight at the moment. |
Hello, could someone help me to check

That flight is J7C7I7O0 in business at the moment. EF sometimes does not show H bucket (Special) but if I do a dummy booking, Special is sold out.
