Exactly and it's for charity - it's basically free for all which is great in my book. ^

Navigate manually to portal.inflight.onair.aero and it should take you to the landing page.

Yes! Exactly what I was looking for, thanks.

China....(a big one that!)

That's a bit of a bummer since i will be on a flight from DXB to HKG and a quick look at the route shows that the majority of the flight time is spent over India and China

Well at least its a dollar saved !

I know this is an old thread, but...

I'm travelling in J on a QF award ticket. Will that make me eligible for the free wifi? I'm not sure that I'd be able to change my QF membership number to an EK one. I don't know enough about the booking system to know if that could affect my ticket, so I don't just want to try it.

You log in with your EK number on the wifi login page, I don't know if it syncs with the pax manifest to check if you're listed as being on the flight, though. Unless it does that you should be fine.

Thanks. I'll try that. If I have to pay, I have to pay. But I figured it's worth trying.

Someone I know (cough cough) may have given their login details to a friend travelling in Y recently, and it wouldn't work for them - so there must be some sort of linkage to the passenger manifest to determine if "someone I know" was on board.

I would guess unless your booking had your skywards details on it, it won't work.
