Non bookable codeshares

I was on a Flybe BHX - GLA yesterday and return tonight. I notice that the flight also has Virgin and Emirates codes showing for it on the screens. That flight isn't bookable on the Emirates website. Is there any way to get the flight atta bed to the Emirates code? I could then,as a gold, use the lounge and even get points.

I think lounge is for EK-operated flights only. It's probably only bookable in combination with other EK flights, e.g. BHX-GLA-DXB-PVG or something, they probably don't have a fare published for just BHX-GLA.

EK lounge access is only available if your onward flight is operated by EK or QF - if you are on a flight operated by another carrier, even with EK codeshare, then no access regardless of status (apart from iO of course!).

The code share only works if you are connecting to or from an EK flight when booking it as a single ticket.

I have used it twice this year on EK while flying

IOM-MAN-DXB-DEL-DXB-MAN-IOM

The advantage is that I get my full baggage allowance from checkin to final destination .Bags are also checked in all the way through.

Worked out cheaper than buying separate FLYBE and EK tickets .

However I did not get any skywards/tier miles for the flights taken on FLYBE.
