Payment under review
I have been trying to purchase a ticket on the emirates website and it keeps going to Payment under review with an email 4-6 hrs later saying the card could not be charged. I've tried 3 different visa and mastercards and the banks says they authorize the charges just fine. I can goto a third party booking site but would prefer not to if i can get this resolved. Has anyone had this happen to them and how were you able to resolve it?

It's probably worth phoning with the original reference number, and seeing if they can process the payment while you're on the call.

I was gonna suggest exactly the same as DYKWIA, credit cards tend go through easier when run manually than online, so give that a shot. Decent chance your original reference is still active as they would have probably given you 48 hours to try another payment method.

And it wouldn't hurt to check the cards that you have attempted to use in a few days. I was caught out like this once (not EK but CX) where the first time I tried, it told me payment was unsuccesful so I called and made the payment. Found out a couple of weeks later that the first payment had actually been processed and I had paid twice.
