A tale of two Emirates
Took my first few flights with Emirates in the past 2 weeks. Flew two segments in 777-300 biz class and 1 segment in A380 first.
The 777-300 biz class might be the worst business class seat and config of any major international airline I have flown in 15 years. The seat is so narrow and uncomfortable that I cannot believe people actually pay money to fly it. The service was excellent however. Next time I book and pay for an international business class fare I am going to make sure that I am not on one of their 777s.
Our last leg we upgraded ourselves from biz to first on an A380 from DXB to JFK. I won't go into detail but it was out of this world. Best experience flying on any airline at anytime. I would make a deal with the devil to fly it again.

Weirdly enough I prefer the 777 over the A380 in J
The only exception is if I get 23A or 23 K on the 3 class A380 in which case I have to agree that its better( if you ignore the service issues and the refection of the pax in the next seat ( on the flower vase).)
The service on a A380 is inferior to that on a 777 IMHO unless you have status with EK. Even then its a bit hit and miss but I think on a overnight flight to the UK the A380 is better.
On a day flight I prefer the 777.

I quite like both seats.
I agree service on the 777s are usually better than J in the A380. I do like the A380 seats if you have a window though. I cant fault the 777 seats except the lack of aisle access for 3 out of the 7 seats in each row.

Really shouldn't be a feature of a modern-day business class.

If they'd solved this issue they would have lost revenue due to less capacity and people would be less likely to pay for F, which is a big step up on the 77w in terms of seat and in terms of service usually on the 380.

(I wonder if Charles Dickens also wrote 'A tale of two Emirates'?)!
