Strange account status

I totally confused - have they increased the plat thresholds?

How many miles to I need to renew?

150,000 required for Platinum. From the start of the year you have earned 44,747 leaving 105,253 remaining as displayed.

It seems the June one has not been added yet (was it taken today?). And it appears they no longer include upcoming travel - I can't check that because unfortunately I don't have any upcoming travel

I need about 50 more I think. One f flight to China and I'll need 20 - should be doable. What I don't understand is why they've changed to from you need X miles to renew by X (including future bookings) was much easier.

This is a bit OCD, but I've resorted to a spreadsheet that tracks my miles (tier and regular)... including a monthly roll forward of planned trips.

Yes, I agree it is strange. I think they are tinkering with the web display only, not the limits.

It used to be the miles in your joining month didn't count (in the dark grey - so for you Dec 2015). These should be for your previous year. Same for me my switching date was 31 March 2016, but the miles for March 2016 show in the "tier miles earned during the months shown below" counting but aren't taken into account if I look at the "you require XXX tier miles by XXX to renew XXX"

Also some tickets I booked before my yearly switching date are not showing in the forward booking calculations by month but they are taken into account in the "you require XXX tier miles...by XXX to renew XXX"

So, in summary it seems some changes going on in the display. I was also totally confused when I saw the display last week.

As I earn everything is credited, and it seems as normal.

But hopefully not in the earning requirements!

Checked my account today and instead of the way it used to display that I needed 0 flights/points to acheive Gold, now states that I need 9500 points before review date.

Obviously not taking in to account flights already booked any more.

Safe & Happy Travels
