40K Missing miles to Platinum
Hey Guys,
I am 40K short for my Platinum status based out of Dubai. I fly only Economy so I had a good number of flights but still short.
What would be the best and of course cheapest way to still manage these 40K miles in one or 2 months time ?
thanks !
Massimo

I need to go to St Paul in April but Emirates website doesn't show how many miles that trip would be. How can I know how many these would add up ?
I was thinking of doing DXB - SEA - MSP and back but as it's also via Alaska Airlines I can't seem to find the miles I would make ? I wanted to compare the fares to know which one would be helpful towards my target.

Dear OP,
You are aware that 40K is 10K short of a newbie getting Gold ...
I'm not convinced that Plat is worth flying 40K extra if you don't initially need to.
Nevertheless, if your have the will and the budget, just fly CMB-DXB in F as m3red has suggested.

As already commented on I'm not sure i would try to fly extra to earn 40k miles - the only tangible benefits I can see are F lounge access in DXB and SYD/MEL over J lounge and a free Gold membership for somebody else. Both OK but not worth spending significant amounts to get IMHO.

Hey guys,
Thanks - one last question. Where can I find how many miles I would make on the partner airlines as I still will need to to SEA-MSP on Alaska Airlines.
Currently looking at BEY - DXB - SEA - MSP as I will be in BEY anyway over that specific weekend.
Thanks

You will see how many miles and tier miles you will earn by trying a dummy booking on the EK website after logging into your Skywards account.
