Question Seat availability

Since i booked my flights 2 weeks ago, the seating availability is shown as attached in the picture.

question is ,does this means its already booked up or will it come available during check in?always got my choice of seats when i booked before. Am i out of luck this time?

Thanks

I'm a bit unsure what you're asking here. You seem to have a seat already booked, and there a quite a few available seats (all aisle). You should be able to move to any that are showing as available.

The paired seats (E&F) are probably marked as not available at this stage for the single traveler. Closer to travel time, they may open up.

All of Row 26 and the A seats in rows 9, 11 14 and 16 are usually blocked off from selection in advance. They should open up at check in.

I've never seen this before and 90% of my travel is solo. Is it something you've come across - maybe route dependent?

Unusual pattern indeed. Maybe a bridal group booked this flight ?

If you want to modify your assignment, check seat availability from time to time. Occupied seat may become free.

I have just literally hung up my call to EK and saw this. I travel out tomorrow on a T7 and back next week on 380. All window seats on T7 taken except 6A currently blocked, the agent said will put in a request but can't guarantee if I will get that at checking. On the 380, got 16A right away.

Ah, a pertinent piece of information missing from your original post

Window seats tend to go first unfortunately. Keep checking though, as people may cancel.

If you sign up for ExpertFlyer, you can set up a seat alert that will email you if a window seat becomes available. This is a free service.
