Expert Flyer 77W Codes

Looks like Expert Flyer is no longer showing specific 77W codes for EK.

No more 73H, 73J, 73H, etc, which were useful in determining what kind of aircraft age, seating config and ICE version were expected on upcoming flights.

All coded as 77W now (as far as I can tell).

They do differentiate between 777 and 77w by using 773 for the older 3 class planes - also my HND flight on Fri is 77L so you know its a long range smaller 777.

Correct, those are industry wide codes (773, 77W, 77L).

It appears that we're losing the differentiation within the 77W category for EK specifically.

Do not have EF but wondering if the 73H etc was shown the whole time or only 1-2 days before departure? As the exact aircraft is 'assigned' 2 days before the flight is (and obviously can change anytime; especially ex DXB)

Tough to remember now, but it was definitely an extended period of time such that people commented about it changing back and forth as the departure approached. At least two weeks, if not more.
