Change fee on saver/flex combo

Hi,

My outbound flight is a saver fare and my inbound is a flex fare. If I upgrade my inbound flight to J after booking the original ticket do I have to pay the change fee for saver (400AED) or do I pay it for Flex (250)?

Thanks.

if you do an upgrade in a higher cabin (I assume your original ticket is in Y) the change fee will be waived however you have to call EK as it is not working online.

No - the website coding sucks - or more probably, the fares people don't tell the website coders about all the rules and so they hard code it in

For instance, I have to contact EK about ex-NQY-LGW departures, which are exempt from APD, but yet EK collect it
