EK using T1 @ JFK for some flights?

EK using T1 @ JFK for some flights?
I'm at JFK right now in the DL SkyClub. An EK A380 landed around 1:45pm and is now parked at T1. Are they using T1 now for some flights?

Update: The aircraft, A6-EDN landed at 1:42 and sat over near T-1. It's just now taxi'd over to T-4. Must have been waiting for a gate to open.
