Concourse D

A few questions as we are travelling GLA-MEL early January '16 and returning late March '16:

When does it open/did it open (apologies if this has been answered before; have been watching preparations in Series 3 of Ultimate Airport)?

We normally arrive/depart A and B - will EK flights to and from GLA and MEL use D?

Thanks in advance for replies.

On board but quick reply: not open as of yet, and no EK flights from there (non EK flights moving out from C to D and EK taking over C)

Many thanks for the reply and the information. It's always a bit daunting when you land at DXB as to whether we land at A or B or C and whether the connecting flight is at a different concourse and involves getting on the train but we're getting used to it! Each of the last 3 or 4 trips has involved coming in at B and leaving from A or vice-versa.

Yes. Especially stressful when the inbound flight was put on hold above DXB.
Sometimes, there is not enough time to refresh at the lounge.
