lounge access

Query ?
Flying dxb-gla with my wife and 17 year old daughter in Y (first time !) My wife and I are both Silver card holders. Will they allow my daughter access to the lounge with us in dxb ? Cant find anything on emirates skywards website that categorically states this

many thanks

officially you cannot guest someone in as a silver member, however you can try it - have seen some lucky passenger which could take in the child as an exception

They usually allow small children . My cousin was allowed to take her 10 year old in .

Older children / teenagers is a bit doubtful but I suggest that you try anyway. The worst they can do is to say no.

PS: do you all have the same surname and are you travelling under the same reservation?

Might also be worth posting in the lounge meet up thread and if you are lucky someone might be able to guest her in .

The cut off is usually around 12 years old.

DXB might be quite strict however, depending on if there's any supervisors watching...! Still, as ukdoctor says, the worst they can say is no!

yes, same surname and all booked on the same reservation, only have enough miles to upgrade 2 of us - what a quandary my preference is to keep the miles for my wife and I when we travel to CPT in Jan and upgrade from J to F
Also my teenager is blue card and just 3000 tier miles short of Silver
