Hi All,

I'm on this flight on Fri the 24th and just wondering if anyone else here has flown this recently.

Is the flight busy? We have been assigned bulkhead seat in Y and just wondering how easy it will be to move a little further back away from the bathrooms and potential infants?

Thanks in advance,
gerardk55

I flew last Friday, I however used miles to upgrade to business. When on board I did ask if Economy was full and was told that there were a few seats free. Personally I'd stick with the bulk head, esp you have an aisle (you'll be able to stretch out your legs).

You could offend a few women by asking if they are carrying a potential infant, and given that are potential, they probably won't disturb you unless they happen to materialise in-flight....

Thanks for the replies.

Won't ask any females about potential infants! Made that mistake once before, awkward!

The bulkhead is the one at the bottom of the stairs where all the bathrooms are and there's always people hanging around there. That and the little office thing that the crew are always in and out of makes it a little too noisy for me.

I flew 415 in April, booked in Y. I watched the seat map* and it was fairly open up until a few days out. That is, two weeks before the flight there were several rows with the whole center (4 seats) of the row empty (and other empty seats showing). I selected an aisle seat with three empty seats adjacent, hoping to be able to stretch out (or at least have one empty seat left if a couple took the opposite aisle).

But on the day it was full enough that I got an op-up to J.

* You should be able to see (and select) your seats on the EK website.

Thanks RadioGirl, I have a few qualifying flights between here and then to AKL so hopefully I might get a bump upstairs on the day.
