Priority immigration for Gold
"Speed through immigration at most airports. We give you a fast track card when you fly First Class or Business Class, or if you’re an Emirates Skywards Gold or Platinum member." (Source: http://www.emirates.com/be/english/f...ess_class.aspx)
What is your experience in getting fast track at immigration in any airport other than DXB when travelling Y as Plat or Gold?
In my experience: never got it, and when asked for it (useful in BKK or MEL for example) they told me it's a service for J and F only.

LHR, LGW, BKK, MEL, SYD, DXB, CMB. The BKK one is redundant, there is never a fast track line anyway

I do the same as ft101, in BKK they are definitely worth keeping if you get them. When arriving at BKK, I generally use the immigration area opposite to where I am arriving from, usually empty then. Only in the peak hours late at night have I used the express queue area in the middle.

I didn't get it in MEL so must be a glitch in the system (flown only once in Y to MEL so can't really compare).
So, the list so far is (apart from DXB):
IST, Australia, CMB, and UK (only for non EU citizens IIRC)
What about security fast track? It's not an official Gold/Plat perk but I found a thread here that some people where getting fast track security...
In BRU you don't get it anymore. (I did get it in the beginning when EK launched the flight: they put stickers on the bp as opposed to the automated system now)

If you travel with a Thai citizen, you can also use the Thai citizens line, I've seen (likely spouses though).
LGW no longer has any sort of fast track access at all - only EU/EEA/CH biometric e-passport gates, manned desks and all other passports. Also a special lane for those who have special assistance.

Last time I flew to CMB I just used it and no one checked (I had kept an old fast track card just in case). It did save me some time.

There is actually always a fast track line at BKK - it's just not the "fast track" lines which you find in Immigration halls 1 and 3 (the main ones with the sometimes long queue) to the side by the Thai nationals electronic immigration gates, which is mainly for TG pax, but a short walk down the past the slope up to the halls into a small area where they process visa-on-arrivals. You'll know you've reached it when you find lots of Russians filling in forms. It's generally very quick in there.

In LGW its on departure only, no fast track on arrival.

While this may not have anything to do with immigration, I thought it would be helpful to point out. I was flying in Y from JFK a couple weeks ago and the airport was especially busy. I was able to skip the long line at passport check/security by just flashing the TSA agent at the beginning of the line my gold card. He put me in the Business/First class line which AFAIK isn't an official gold card perk at JFK.
