pricing question

I'm looking to buy a business class ticket BRU-BKK-BRU and I noticed that on the BRU-BKK leg there's only Flex+ available. On expert flyer however J class is still wide open in all fare brackets.

Do you think EK will open up Saver/Flex fare again closer to departure date to fill up J class or should I buy the expensive tickets now? (in Y saver/flex/flex+ is still available, in F everything is sold out)

Hi.
You're looking for which date? What do you have on BKK-BRU (Flex, Saver?)

Was very surprised to hear that there is no availability in F for that route.

Just had a quick look at your dates - out 14/6, back 19/6 - and there appear to be F seats on offer. (whether or not you want to shell out 5000 euros is another matter .....!)

Can also see F and also Z for BRUDXB however Business looks quite full. Problem for you is that the Flex+/Saver combo would be non refundable if there is a lower class available later on.

There is always the risk that the O/Saver will disappear and the 14 looks quite full in Business, however the booking classes do change sometime very strange. Just keep in mind, Saver fare has to be bought at least 10 days before departure. So can also do a reservation for max 72hrs via callcenter and hope that a lower booking class will open up till then.

Thanks for the adice kuroko. Didn't know about the 10 day rule.
I'm not sure I understand correctly. If I buy BRU-BKK in Flex+ and BKK-BRU in Saver, I can't change BRU-BKK later if a Saver becomes available??

Downgrade is not permitted thats the problem. Only thing would be to cancel the ticket and buy a new one however ticket is non refundable because of the Saver/O class.

So I'm better off to buy Y flex+, upgrade to J Saver if it becomes available. J Flex+ is too expensive for my penny and I don't need the flexibility.
Thanks!

Yes, but pay attention to the 10 days rule because if you change your outbound EK will reprice your itinerary (within 10 days, you have also to upsell your inbound to Flex).
