What to do with 5500 miles?
Hi everyone,
The title says it all. At the end of this month 5500 miles will expire. What can I do with them?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Hi there
As suggested by m3red, your options are to 'spend' the miles by either making a purchase from the Emirates High Street OR donating their value to charity. More details here

I would imagine the thought had never occurred to you anyway, but worth just adding that one thing you would not wish to get involved in is the trading of any miles on well-known internet-based auction websites - simply because this would be in clear contravention of the Skywards scheme rules. You personally may, or may not, be concerned at the potential implications, but anyone attempting to acquire miles by such a method runs the risk of having their Skywards account closed down.
From the Skywards programme T&C's :
"A Member may not sell his or her Skywards Miles for cash or other consideration and a Member may not purchase Skywards Miles from a third party."
and
"Members must not misuse their membership in the Emirates Skywards frequent flyer programme, including by:
Engaging in illegal or fraudulent activities; or
Selling, assigning, transferring or acquiring, or offering to sell, assign, transfer or acquire any Reward or Miles other than in accordance with the Programme Rules
In the event of a breach of the Programme Rules by a Member, including any breach of this clause 2.4, Emirates Skywards reserves the right to terminate the membership in accordance with clause 17.2."
