Will miles post on layover?

I am 750 miles short of silver and am flyibg EK from HKG-BCN via DXB of course. I will have flown the needed miles by the time I land in dubai. What are the chances these will post by my layover and allow me lounge access. Anyone had this situation before?

Thanks

Miles do not post until the whole one-way journey (including any <24h connections) is completed. The only way you would get credit mid-journey is where you make a >24h stopover rather than just a layover.

The chances are nil. You will have to fly the entire outbound or inbound parts (or have a 24hr+ stopover) of your itinerary before tier miles for sectors flown credit. You will not be granted lounge access until the system updates to reflect your status, unfortunately.

Thank you. Luckily only a 2h layover.
