Miles questions for Emirates

I am planning a vacation in SEZ. I do have BC award booked on ET, using UA miles. It seems EY also does that route.

I have a boatload of Amex points and using EF see plenty of BC seats on outbound.

1. Does Emirates have one way awards?
2. I think I connect in Middles East and SEZ is in Africa. How may miles would this trip need using miles for BC?
3. How bad are fees for BC award?

BTW Inbound seems not to be available but I can keep a one way UA award. ET does not seem to get high marks so would like to change at least one way.

Thanks in advance.

If it helps looking at week of March 21.

1) Yes, however one way awards are Flex Awards which cost twice the miles of Saver Awards.
2) What is your starting point - xxx-DXB-SEZ? There is a Miles Calculator on the website. http://www.emirates.com/account/engl...alculator.aspx
3) Very.

Not sure if you can book on Amex points a ne way reward flight, at least on my Amex-Rewards the options are quite limited.
