Lost Iphone 5c

Traveling first class from DXB to BOM, left my iphone 5c with purple case on seat 1K.

At baggage area realized I forgot the phone, tried to get help from Emirates personnel who said cleaning crew did not find anything and the plane had left the gates.

Emailed Lost and Found, very slow to respond. Phone possibly found on the next sector the plane traveled to.

Help would be appreciated.

How about tracking it down through iCloud? You could disable it from there too.

Had it been bom dxb you may have had a chance but unlikely you'll get it back from there.

I've left things in f twice and got them back but both times it was arriving into dxb.

Another option would be to contact Apple for the IMEI number (unique serial number that each phone has), and then file a police report for the lost phone. If the phone connects to a network, you'd know.

It's an iPhone. Track it down using the Find my iPhone App (which should be the first thing you set up!)

It will be easy to find it then.

The plane would not leave the gates within 1hr of landing in BOM.. and if travelling 1st class , the baggage does reach very fast..
Not sure the correct status was informed to the pax..
