Fast Track security at outstations?

Quick question if anyone can assist?

Prompted by my first Y flight in a while tomorrow on EK22 MAN-DXB.

At Gold Skywards level. Do I qualify for fast track security pass in Y?
My memory of this is somewhat hazy. I think sometimes I've been given a pass and sometimes not
Reason I ask is that MAN is likely to be an utter zoo tomorrow morning due to start of Easter School Holidays. If Emirates don't hand it out, might book it directly with the airport........

If I remember correctly, Fast Track Security at GLA is only for those in F & J. Never been to MAN so can't help there.

I've flown out of MAN twice as a Gold in Y and I'm sure I got fast track passes at least one of the times. It was, however, in 2011.

MAN fast track.

Last year was given fast track for around half of Y departures from MAN as Gold. No idea what the official EK policy is. Always given fast track for J and F departures.

You should just remember to ask as that line is huge!

Ive had fast track security at MAN since I've been gold (nearly a year) so you should be Ok, If they don't offer it then ask. But then once it Was slower as normal queue was fairly short and l got stuck behind someone testing 10 bottles of baby milk.)

Subject2load has it exactly right. And not only for front-line staff. I sent an email to EK via UK website contact section to ask what the EK policy is for fast track for Golds departing MAN in Y. This was the commendably rapid initial response:

"As mentioned in our website, Fast Track vouchers are available at most airports around the world, to help speed your way through airport formalities.
Upon review of your query, we have established that we need additional time to fully coordinate this matter. We apologise for any inconvenience and expect to respond to you shortly."

More may follow...

I upgraded to j at check in, but they do usually give fast track stickers for golds and they will if you ask.

Emirates did reply, and Golds should get fast track at MAN. Here's their helpful mail....

Thank you for your email regarding Gold Tier fast track benefit.

We wish to inform you that as per one of the benefits available to Skywards Gold Tier members, Skywards Gold Tier members travelling in economy on Emirates are able to check-in at the Business Class check-in desks at Manchester Airport.

Gold Tier members can also avail of the fast lane at security. The check-in agents do the needful at their end for Gold Tier members to avail of the mentioned facility.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to explain. We look forward to welcoming you back onboard.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Rodrigues

Ive always been given the fast track security at LGW as a gold while flying even on a Y ticket.
Even without asking they put a 'Gatwick Premium' silver coloured sticker on my boarding pass. There is no confusion after this.

My mate knows someone who claims that they save the silver sticker and use it on other airlines as well but I think its pure bull(Unless that particular airline has an arrangement with the premium lane its pointless)

Nothing similar at DEL though. Unless they op me up at checkin, I have to use the regular queue.

Just as a follow up to this.
When I arrived at MAN, you can see through to the security queuing 'pen' area as you walk through the main entrance doors.
The area was surprisingly very empty, so I thought I'll just turn up at the desks and see what happens....
As it was, one of the two 'bag drop' desks was free whilst there was a queue at business check in, so I went to the bag drop desk as I had already checked in online the previous night (just in case!).
No fast track offered.
No priority baggage tags attached.

Whether this was due to me not rocking up at the business desk where they would have the appropriate tags / tickets, I'm unsure, but hey - made little difference on the day.

As an aside, was stunned to be greeted by both the purser and SFS on the outbound 777leg (and was given fastrack immigration tickets before even taking off from MAN by another member of cabin crew!) and was greeted by a profusely apologetic SFS on the return A380 who couldn't apologise enough for not coming to greet me before takeoff (she managed it about an hour into the flight)
Certainly an improvement on previous Y experiences as a gold............
Although the tea and coffee was still stone cold by the time they served it

you should have got priority tags as gold and you would have got fast track had you asked. The other day on 18 (upgraded at check in) the security queue was huge so was thankful for the fast lane, guess it depends on the time of day.

thats one of the best benefits as it has made my bag arrive very quickly at MAN and DXB.

My last Y flight I got zero greeting but my wife did
